During these conferences discussions on the evaluation of health policies will be generated.
This discussions will take place in several round table discussions which will focus on: the consequences of changes in drug policy, health services management privatization, the obesogenic pandemic and policies promoting healthy nutrition and physical exercise, health care and long-term chronic diseases prevention policies of smoking, and the relationship between education and health and the use of the health system, in particular the impact of both educational levels of the population and the different educational programs in health decisions and health costs generated by the public health system.
Therefore, we will address burning issues which are of great importance given the lack of public resources. There will be two presentations: one will address issues related to the economic behavior of agents (Behavioural Economics) which affect the health status of individuals and their reactions to health programs, the other one will analyze the effects that the early life health conditions have on the health status development through the adulthood.
